What is the partial pressure in the nitrogen machine device?
The gas mixture composed of several different gases uniformly mixed together is called "mixed gas". Air is a mixture of gases. Each of the components that make up the gas mixture is called a "component".
In a gas mixture, the various components of the gas molecules occupy the same volume (that is, the total space of the container) and have the same temperature. The total pressure of the gas mixture is the result of the combined action of various molecules to produce impact on the wall. The pressure generated by each component is called partial pressure, which can be regarded as the pressure Pn generated when each component molecule exists alone in the container at this temperature.
Experiments show that the total pressure P of the mixed gas is equal to the sum of the partial pressure Pn of each component:
P=Pl+P2+…… +Pn
